I liked, very original one, but to much things in the background, and the crack on the window is to big as well, kinda hard to see things e get momentum in some parts.

Cool game - I like it but if you can the background red and platform red look the same to me - maybe changing the saturation of the background or the foreground will help with this.

Not bad for a first timer! I think my primary bit of advice is to check out the scaling settings in the Window option under project settings. This can help size everything right for the resolution of sprite you picked, and ensures things like fonts don't show up huge randomly or things like that. In all, for a small platformer, it had some cool little bits and I liked it.

however, it was somewhat hard for the eyes! had the game over screen pop up twice in situations where i'm not entirely sure what i did wrong. but other than that, a nice little platformer, especially for a first participation! :)
