Congrats on your first jam entry. I quite enjoyed the game. The art was super unique, and I really loved the mechanics you had (cutting the rope, getting dynamic). I would have loved some health pick ups. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! We were not sure about these mechanics but they ended up working pretty well!

A very fun little game! It has a very charming aesthetic and the palette is very well used. The platforming could use a bit of work, there were a certain platform, that I spent ages trying to jump to, and I'm not a novice in platformers (I love metroidvanias) it's just that this specific platform (the leftmost one in the second floor of the castle) had a very small gap because there were a platform right above it to the right that caused me to bounce off everytime. This is also a level design issue, so you could move that platform a bit to widen the gap, and it would solve the problem. Also the ranged enemies didn't had a windup animation and they fired instantly when they see you, wich makes them the run killer everytime lol. The boss was also very easy, he could jump to that platform to alleviate the platform abuse, and the game window could be a bit bigger, or a fullscreen option would be fine, but nonetheless it's a very awesome game I enjoyed it a lot!

Thank you for your detailed feedback! For the platforms we knew it was a problem but we forgot to fix it... We wanted to delete one platform and to add more spacing between the remaining three. We didn't really have time to balance the ranged enemies and the boss, but if we keep working on the game we will fix these!
