Love that we can create our own monsters! I included it in my compilation video series for the Godot Wild Jam #56, if you’d like to check it out. :)

I totally love the ability to customize your monster and I although I don't think the camera action is frustrating as some others have mentioned I have to admit that I wasn't able to play it after destroying my first building. It's a pity because that was the moment when a tank showed up and I was really curious to see if I can throw cars at it. (Btw if not for the comments here - I wouldn't guess that you can grab cars). Great job, just a few polishing/bugfixing moves and it would be a great fun to play imo!

This is a really cool entry! I would like to see a more finished version. I ended up leveling about half the city before I tried the throw action without a car, punched a building and froze for eternity.

The camera was very disorienting and I would prefer a different angle and/or style but the grab and throw mechanic was quite fun to play with. Everything felt a little clunky and faster responses to input would definitely give it a better feel.

I find it pretty amusing that the tanks are actually more effective at destroying buildings when you dodge them than they are when you throw them :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like there is a bug with the animation not triggering a function if you click the mouse too fast, and the monster gets stuck in an invalid state. :D

Great work on this game! A great nod to the classic Rampage games! Loved the top-down style, gave me big GTA 2 flashbacks. Though some of the most fun I has was playing with the character customizer!

Unfortunately I did experience some technical issues that prevented me from getting too far, but what I did see was enjoyable!

Keep making games!
