What an adorable game! I like your choice of colors, they are quite pleasing to my eyes. It's amazing how good the game looks with just a bunch single color shapes. Love the concept of possession. Also like your cheeky ghost dialogs and multiple choices for them. It is not immediately clear to me that I need to press space to possess the cat, but maybe that was hidden in one of the dialog options that I didn't choose. I could not find the teddy, I tried. But I was at lost on what else to do after I accidentally open the door (still not sure how I managed that) and knocked over trash can. I like the music in the game, but thought the game is very quiet without sound effects. Overall my impression of the game is good, definitely a gem that could use more polishing up if you feel like working on it further!
Liked the concept (really original) but lacked dept in the gameplay. Maybe some other challenges or more character development? It's not clear how the actions (eg. eating trash) will help you find the Teddy Bear. The mechanic is really cool and I can see it developing forward in something interesting.
I love the concept behind this! It's so unique with the concept of possession and how you can get rejected if you are too forceful that I thought was really interesting.
One small critique I have is regarding the puzzle. I found the ending after trying for awhile but I would've found it a lot more helpful if you can somehow restrict where you can go based on the stages of the puzzle, that way you can't skip ahead to where you aren't supposed to interact yet.
I also really like the dialogue, it's very cute lol.
Congrats on the submission!
An opportunity I see here is that whenever I try to possess a cat, the reminder dialog gets a little annoying. Moving your hand from arrow/space to the enter key feels tedious. Cheers!!!
Oh yes ! Thank you for the feedback !
I bumbled into the solution by accident
it is what you ae supposed to do xD happy that it worked for you !
