Congratulations on your first jam game! Glad you managed to submit it! (32 seconds before the deadline was cutting it a bit close huh? :)) The music was a tiny bit repetitive for my taste and as @sophiadoodles wrote, it was a bit unclear how many items are needed for the adults to follow. But these are not serious "issues" for this otherwise charming and fun little first game. :) Great job!
I beat the game! I was a little confused at first on what to do with the adults, it was hard to tell how many items I have to bring them to get them to come with me. It almost looks like there's a little red progress bar next to each adult when the cat sit down next to them, but it isn't clear how far along I am looking at the bar. After a while I realize if the cat stays sitting next to adult, then the adult would be following the cat afterwards. Graphic is very simple but clean looking, if you decides to improve upon graphic maybe make the people bigger as they look quite small compare to the cat. The music is pleasant but I'm finding myself looking to hear a sound when I pickup an item and interact with people..etc. Overall I think it's a pretty balanced game and really good effort for your first jam game!

I figured out the item delivery system, but not the child saving part. You may want to include some instruction on how to lead the adult to the child.
Otherwise, this is a fantastic concept which you should revisit in the future!
