Very fun idea and love the art you leave behind.
My only complaint and unfortunately this is a pretty big one... don't put all the keys next to each other, putting the claw 'W' key as space or on the right side of the keyboard would have made this much better.
Oh maybe some extra levels and hi score (number of times going down would have made this even better.
Thanks for submitting - again love the idea
Thank you very much for the suggestions and feedback! Improving the controls and a score system is definitely high on the to-do list after the jam.
Great game! Simple, enjoyable and with a strong grasp on the theme :) The scaling of the canvas would really help for larger monitors.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Sorry about the absence of scaling!
Very clever use of the theme!
Maybe it went over my head, but I kind of wish one of the levels would end with a scratched parody of an actual famous painting (if played "perfectly"). Maybe they did and it's just me not knowing enough about art.
I like the idea and execution a lot! Well done!
Thank you for playing! How can you not recognize the famous "Right facing triangle" by Van Gogh? Just kidding, I just slapped together some random shapes to be honest. :) Great suggestion tho, definitely a missed opportunity on my part!
This game was so fun!! The art, music, sound effects, concept, and controls were impeccable. It was very satisfying when the marks would pop off the curtain. Super intuitive tutorial. I was upset when the game ended lol. It was too short in my opinion.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! Very glad you enjoyed the game! I feared players would become bored quickly with the mechanic, that's why I kept it short. :)
What a clever game idea. You totally nailed the theme and in such an original way too! Graphic is simple but very clean and stylish looking. Sound were just right. I had fun playing. :)
Thank you!
Really nice game, direct and effective!
I could also imagine it being nicely ported to a mobile version, I think the reception would be really good.
Thanks!
This is a strong contender! It's an elegant casual game with a shallow learning curve.
Thank you!
And thank you for reminding me to send you off with a proper message.
Shoot for the stars in December. Drown yourself in issues, and the pressure will make you into a Diamond!
THIS IS SO CLEVER, I'm in awe. Great job! I had so much fun in the tutorial room I almost didn't wanna leave it.
Unsolicited advice on commands: the scratching action is kind of awkward on the W while you also have to move, maybe moving it to spacebar or enter would make it easier to try different things.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks for the advice as well, definitely gonna change the controls post jam!
Brilliant idea. You can implement so much features to deliver a real original complete game. I love it.
Thank you!
what a great idea with a good use of the theme, and you managed to polish it pretty good! It might also be cool if there were patches where you had to avoid using the claws
Thank you for the suggestion and for playing!
Unique Idea! The claw scratching is so satisfying.
Thank you for playing!
I can treat this as a really good mini sandbox game, A creative player will really make a "Pawcasso" here
Thank you for playing!
Very enjoyable, finished it! :-)
I think i would remap the controls, as a first time player i couldnt get used to using W for claws, but after some practice all good.
good job!
Yeah, controls might be a bit unusual at first, I agree. Thank you for the feedback and for playing!
