This is a runner where the Navigation Agent tries his best to stay with your cursor.

Technical Issue: Had to restart the game after reading the tutorial.

The game itself is competently made. After a little bit of settling in, harder to see obstacles start popping in. Once you lose your first grade of heat, the guy will never catch up to your torch and will eventually fall behind the screen where he dies in a way that's too hot for GWJ.

While I don't think this is a strong contender, it's not bad either. You will learn more in every jam you participate in, and we hope to see you again in January!

Awesome game.  I suck though because I skipped the tutorial at first.  I think it should be shown when the game is first started.  I wasn't aware that the person moves faster the farther away the mouse is and that you can click to regain some health at the cost of standing still for a second.

I was able to get to the area where there were 2 torches side by side and it became a choose the right path or you're kinda screwed difficulty.  I think maybe adding a light silhouette to the character when in complete darkness might help.  And after a few play sessions, helping the player out with some small highlight/hinting of the objects that the player might be damaged by something would be cool.

I like how the character cutely shivers when right up against my mouse cursor trying to feed off the warmth of my lil torch.  Totally intentional, right?

I quite enjoyed this game and the art style! I just found it a bit confusing when it comes to the gameplay and the health system other than that it was fun! - Alfie

Yea sadly I didn't have time to make a full tutorial so I just made a few pictures and a bit of text explaining the mechanics but that's a lot harder to understand than an actual fully fleshed out tutorial. Thanks for playing tho! :)
