Game Description
You wake up in a mysterious desolate forest. You are chased by lunging enemies. Kill them and regain your sanity
How does your game tie into the theme?
The main gimmick of the game is the players ability to overload their weapon and send out a stronger attack. This ability cooldown decreases as the game progresses as well.

I like the concept and the art...and the fingerguns hahaha
I also like the enemies, the design is cool
My feedback is that I would've used the second mouse click to charge the attack instead of clicking multiple times and and think the game is a little too difficult, maybe spawning less enemies or increasing the damage the player makes or decreasing the cooldown of the charged attack would make it more balance.
Besides that...collecting the pages is unresponsive (?). I know I have to use E to pick a page but I don't know how close should I be to the tree or if I have to point at the page....even then sometimes I just don't pick it up. On that note, the counter for the pages I collected shows 0 but I can see the bar increasing.
I liked the idea of this game! The enemies really come at you hard and I definitely felt overloaded! Really nice job for your first game jam!
The graphics is good and also the concept. But i think that the difficulty is a little bit too high. I have also problem with collecting pages. But overall is enjoyable. Keep up the good work!
This is my first GameJam! I hope the game is enjoyable because I had a great time making it and will be expanding upon it for another week or so before it's fully finished.
