I really liked the "shovel coal" idea, fits with theme well.
Nice work, the gameplay and the graphics work well :) I really loved the music, too.
The fact that you have to navigate such narrow gaps makes this more frustrating than engaging, but the visuals are pretty good. The auto-shovel function is a nice touch, too.
i thought about this as well, in a post jam version i'll try to drunken walk from the start to the end, leaving at least one way to go.
