Funny game! I included it in my Godot Community Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Congrats on your first Godot game and first game overall! It's a very good one for a first project, the gameplay works well, the visuals are cool and you even have nice sound effects and music. You can pat yourself on the back and be proud :)

Also kudos for putting playing instructions on the main screen, some more advanced devs around here haven't done it and it makes the gameplay harder to discover. It took me a while to understand how to get fish without getting burned, but the dash became my best friend. I got up to 15 points (max points challenge beaten!) and then accepted my fate as an octopus.

That's a cute little critter, and the game is quite fun, despite being rather overwhelming (not so much in terms of frieres and more in the pokey things flying at you). Good job.

Cute illustrations, I always like seing dodging games, and the concept is interesting, but I didn't like being hurt without knowing why, the hitbox areas didn't feel fair, remember that you should err on the side of the player in this kind of games.

Reducing the game play area with the heaters is a neat idea, but forks come out without giving a chance to dodge and that also feels unfair, you could show the tip appear and stop before launching or a danger indicator.
