Fun mini ecosystem game😀!
GAMEPLAY
The concept of the game of building and managing a small ecosystem, with the player having an impact on its development is nice! It can be a bit challenging to keep the foxes alive. The gameplay is calm and enjoyable, with me observing the development of the ecosystem.
GRAPHICS/ART
The pixel art and style of the game are enjoyable to look at and coherent.
AUDIO
The music is calming, and the sound effects add a touch of liveliness to the gameplay.
THEME
The theme using a mini ecosystem is checked nicely in the game.
Overall, this is a well-executed mini game. Great job💪!
Thank you for your extensive review!
Great game!
I like the idea of managing an environement but still controlling a single character. The setup is nice. I had a bit of trouble understanding everything especially with the mices and fox. The audio is really feating. Congratulations !
Thanks!
I like the creative idea and I can not believe it HTML.
Thanks!
nice idea, good combination with the chain food, i try my best to get a good balance, i cant e.e XD
nice entry love the game and was very relaxing and beautifullx 3
Thanks, yes finding a balance is quite hard.
Nice game! I liked the sound ambiance! I felt like the text was reading a little bit too fast. It would be nice to see more than two animals interract with each other in this ecosystem!
Thanks! The music and ambience were the first things I did. I'll fix the text speed, and yes I had planned for more animals but I realized halfway I hadn't enough time.
nice and relaxing music
i got about 17 mice and then i noticed they weren't increasing
so i decided to put some foxes and eat them up
have played 5 times
also don't forget to rate my game if you haven't
Thanks, I think it fits the ambience well. Usually I make sure there are plenty of plants and then I increase fertility of the mice. You should be able to get 100+ mice that way. I'll certainly rate your game.
Soothing game, cool idea, has a very Thatgamecompany indie feel, i enjoyed. The text was a bit to fast, i had to play a few times to read it in time but im a derp. Good jam!
Thanks, yes I'll fix the text after the voting.
It's pretty however I'd rather see it use different perspective or have more depth because currently it feels a bit like minecraft 2d clone
Thanks. I see what you mean. This perspective was the easiest for me to draw the sprites, but it doesn't look very original.
Great game! Love flying around watching foxes eat mice, but then I’m a little unhinged. Good job!
Thanks! I've focused mainly on the mechanics of the ecosystem, now it needs a bit more game play. Lesson for the next time.
