Was pretty fun even without really knowing what i was doing or even why but i enjoyed trying to place as many of the same type next to each other as possible!
With a little extra gameplay and information added to it and i think it could be a nice chill game to play :)
>What was the most frustrating moment or aspect?
When one of the animals I placed was transformed into a different one for no clear reason. I thought the original animal had been eaten, but didn't see how as there were no predators nearby originally.
>What was your favorite moment or aspect?
I like how the numbers associated with a tile help me figure out where to place next while also providing some strategy in that I often have to select the best of several options.
>Was there anything you wanted to do, but couldn't?
I wanted to place more animal tiles, but they seem relatively rare.
>If you could change, add, or remove any 1 thing, what would it be?
I would want every tile to have an animal on it. I found myself wanting more choices and wanting to see more animal interactions, and an animal on every tile would help with that.Jungly! That was interesting and fun, although quite difficult, I barely got to 3k score points. The gameplay is easy to grasp, but a bit of in-game info about controls and animals would add to the whole experience. The art is on point, I really like those cartoonish animals. Although I failed to do that myself, I concur that it would be a lot better with some music. Great job!
Enjoyed this one a lot. I think you might be closer to release than you think, at least depending on the scope you have for that visual polish, but I don't know your project as well as you do. My notes from my play session are:
