could we play around with the rules like make a game in which you go to a temple that their were conspiracy's about what is inside. is it going with the theme

Following the theme is not something you absolutly have to do during a jam. If you want you can create a game that has absolutly nothing to do with the given theme. The only thing that'll happen is that you'll get a lower rating in the theme category.

There are only 3 criteria that your game will be judged on - how closely you stick to those rules will determine your final score: 

- Relevance (how close did your game match the theme?)
- Completeness (how 'finished' was your game?)
- Fun (how enjoyable was your game to play?)
