This game is a lot of fun! It reminds me of Vampire Survivors. One change that I would suggest is lowering the saturation a bit on the background. There needs to be more contrast between the objects on the screen and the backdrop. At multiple points, I had a little trouble seeing things, which is a big problem in this kind of game. Other than that, you did a great job creating a satisfying gameplay loop!

I really love top-down games like these. I really like the fact that XP regenerates the shield (and the scaling of the XP is needed).  The intro was a nice touch, and the boss and different enemy types really helped make the progression fun. Good game :)

The only good potato is a baked potato... This game is so fun. The progression is excellent and kept me playing for a while. I really like that you have to go recover your beans for XP, this gets the player into dangerous situations . The upgrades were also very satisfying. I wish this game had a soundtrack though. The right music could really elevate this game.
