It took me a moment to figure out the battle system, but once I did I really enjoyed it!

I also liked the GFX. THe music was pretty good as well.
Fun Game!

Ha! Take that Reid Shadowlegends! This was super fun! Would love to see more levels. You probably know about all the little UI things already, but I think it made sense by the end. Seeing more enemies and some awesome art to replace the stand ins would have been so cool. I'd love to see Harold on Horse and Reid on dragon battling it out.

I was happy to see a SRPG entry, big fan of the FE series, FF Tactics, Ogre, etc...

It was fun while it lasted, but a bit tough to figure out exactly what was going on during the fights.

The sprites always switched to cavalry during movement planning.

What plugin(s) did you use to make the tactics system? I didn't see Credits but may have missed them, or maybe it's homemade.

Edit: Oh! I checked out the plugins folder, looks like you coded it yourself. Nice!

Likes:

  • Great artwork, good music selection (I'm using the same composer for one of my projects!) and an interesting concept.
  • The scripting for the FE-like battle system is a technical marvel (who needs SRPG Maker?)

Dislikes:

  • The UI does weird things when you try to cancel out of stuff, and the combat damage seems SUPER random.
  • The life bars always seem to start at full so it's hard to say what's actually going on.
  • Just not quite enough content and lacking some polish.

I dig the fact that your games (in my experience) seem to push the envelope in terms of what can be done with the engine.

Cool art style and portraits. But the UI and presentation are hard to understand.

This was pretty cool.  I never did quite figure out how to interpret the melee battle results, but the stick people sure did beat the tar out of each other.

Can't rate but did enjoy!

Music slaps!
