Unfortunately, due to the length of the game and the number of bugs, this will be disqualified.

That is okay, it is just a preview I put together! Would it be okay for I submit the real game next year?

Host

Probably not as I usually set the rules to work on games DURING the jam, but good luck to you!

Thanks! I will join next year on a new game!

This was a fun little game and I think you did a great job of introducing mechanics to the player. I ran into a few glitches like all the moving assets (enemy and player) continuously moving up and to the right. After reloading it worked fine though! Interested to see how you will expand this.

Thanks!

Nice, this is a good start!

When you tell the player to press O to open the door, you need to press O at that time when that message is on screen - if you press enter instead, to end the dialogue box, you can no longer open the door!

I can see why this would be missed by the developer - you already know how to play the game, so you know to press O right away, and didnt think people would do something else.  This is a good example why you need to have other people playtest your game! Its very easy to miss this sort of thing.

Thanks! I was about to have someone play test it but then I ran out of time so I had to submit. I tested it with someone else a day after and they made the same mistake! lol, nice catch it will be fixed in final version!

Nice preview. I hope the full game adds in more areas and more visual effects. Good job!
