I was really impressed with the opening cinematic. But the combat is what eventually did me in. I felt like the arenas were too big for some of the fights, and I almost stopped because of my difficulty with Helena. Sometimes I'd do very well and she'd get me at the very end, and sometimes my shots would miss even though it looked like I'd hit her. I did eventually beat her, but even then I had a little trouble understanding what was going on. I also ran into a bug where some of the enemies would be stuck on the terrain and would still run at me, but couldn't reach me in any way. All in all, I think it just needs a little bit of polish.
This one seems ambitious, but needs a lot of work. Whenever I died, I had to restart by Alt+F4ing the game to get out of the death pose. The areas also felt huge for no reason, especially in the dark. With some more focus on the gameplay, I feel this could be a decent little game.
Really cool cutscenes but didn't really feel the horror though
Thank you for playing! I'm not a big horror player so i worked with the few references i had! I hope you got past the helena boss which will take you to the main "Creepy" level
Wow, you got all this done in a month? That's really impressive. The opening cinematic alone would've taken me weeks! Great work animating those models.
Great level design having the staircase back up to the house rather than having to run all the way back around, appreciated that.
Found the story a little difficult to follow, and I couldn't beat Helena for the life of me, my bow and arrow skills aren't up to snuff, but appreciate how much work went into it all. Great job!
Thank you! I'm so glad you played it! It does need ALOT of tweaking as I focused on having a finished product for the gamejam
