hey, nice concept. where did you get those room images? I'd love to see the source material because my game dev sense is tingling hard.
Damn, this is really well polished for a week and first time project in heaps and haxe, nice job!
Wow, this is really good for a first Haxe project... especially for one using Heaps! I feel like a full version can make it feel more like a game than a luck of the draw game.
Thanks :) During the week I definitely felt a bit overwhelmed and probably would have a bit of an easier time if not for diving head first into Heaps...
But then, no giving up and no not believing~!
Nice little push-your-luck game. Seems you could build more off it quite easily.
A couple of issues I noticed: The text can go off the dialogue box if there's too many things happening in a room:
And in camp the stamina potion is said to increase your HP by 5 when in fact it does it by 10.
Thanks! :) I do intend to expand on it, and there are clear places where I pretty easily could like the camp and the potions. That's something for after the voting period though ;)
Yeah, I've added the healing potions later on, and forgot to limit that one line about the Demons so it doesn't wrap. Most of them don't, it's just this one I think. :)
The stamina potions on the other hand do increase by 5 (I've checked), it's just you buy as many as you can with the gold possible - so it can look like it does more. That should probably be worded more clearly...
