Great job!
Not bad rendition, although since ships can easily be destroyed by the shield, it's much easier to beat the level.

Hey there! What a spot-on implementation, it captures the feel of the original as I remember from the arcades and consoles of that time. Very well done!
I absolutely love the art style which got me immediately, though I wish the background behind the sprites was more fitting, a space theme or similar. The sound felt a bit lacking by todays standard but would fit the 70s and 80s perfectly, I guess.
The pace and controls of the game were very good and maneuvering the ship was accurate.
