almost all the art is mine.. the art that isnt is the skybox and ui backgrounds... all the skins are custom made same with the textures and all that so enjoy :) (also this is a remake of an existing game of mine called trigo run.... i really wanted to upload it but ive been working on trigo run for months so it doesnt count.. thats why i remade it in 9 days :)
Did you enjoy the jam? Is there anything you'd change if you could start over?
i think i bit off more than i could chew... i tried adding multiple different worlds so.... that didnt work out very well and i have a very incomplete project.... just please dont judge the simulation and rift void....
Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?

Thanks for submitting your game to the jam. The levels were varied and challenging, meanign there was a lot of content. I was a bit unsure why there multiplayer / text chat, part of me feels you just copy pasted a lot of your code from your main trigo project perhaps?
The gameplay sometimes felt great. I enjoyed the jumping on the spherical ice platforms. Some areas of frustrations for me were:
With all that said though, it was a pretty solid feeling platformer which clearly had a lot of effort into building challenging levels. Long term, I'd probably steer away from making it micro movement precision platformer, unless you offer controller support.
thank you for your feedback... yes the rotation of the cube is a specifically designed feature to make the game a little bit more challenging... i have no idea what you mean by the bouncing... (for all i know is that you only bounce on the yellow bounce pads, and yes im still doing trial and error on the skymap... the level switching is giving me issues :(... so the skymap is no supposed to be that... and yes im planning on addding a couple arrows on the first few levels to guide the player a bit
the bouncing I mean: After you jump while moving fast, your square will bounce a little off the floor. It doesn't just stick to the floor when landing. Based on speed / amount of bump, it means it won't register a jump if you press jump whilst bumped off the floor!
I just watched your video with my game in it, Thanks for the feedback... It really helps the development Process, I've acknowledged and improved most of the issues you had with my game, i would appreciate it if you played the newly updated main game.... I have a very hard time finding playtesters, and the ones I do find, dont post their feedback, so i can watch their genuine reaction.... If you could do that I would appreciate it, If you would like to do a livestream on my game Trigo Run... Then we can figure out a timespan once I release the update :)
-thanks for your feedback, Deadshot1m24
Having to go back to main menu and reselect my level each time I died didn't help the rage. Haha! Challenging game! I liked the particle effects!
I like the particle effects and the customization available. However it looks like some of the debug settings are left on in the web version (like FPS counter) and some of the graphics seem out-of-place. Overall a fun platformer that needs a little polish. The full version of Trigo Run will probably be very cool once it's done :thumbs-up:
the debug features are intended.... this game is supposed to be massively based upon speedrunning so the fps counter is there on purpose... good observation though, glad you enjoyed it!!!
Pretty cool idk how well it fits the theme tho
idk how it doesnt fit the theme... its very nonviolent
Not sure if I was the one that broke it, but i got a lot of visual issues? like screen shaking and the jump was SUPER STRONG
I did only have 9 days so i wasnt able to patch all of the bugs :(
Very sorry forr the bad gameplay and i understand if you give it a low score

I couldn't vote since i didn't submit a game myself but maybe post jam? o.o
