Thanks for submitting your game to the jam. The levels were varied and challenging, meanign there was a lot of content. I was a bit unsure why there multiplayer / text chat, part of me feels you just copy pasted a lot of your code from your main trigo project perhaps?
The gameplay sometimes felt great. I enjoyed the jumping on the spherical ice platforms. Some areas of frustrations for me were:
- The rotation of the cube - it took some getting used to, but if you want that to specifically be a mechanic in your game, then thats fine
- Precision platforming on a keyboard really felt bad, at times. Especially when your cube will rotate / slide / bounce a bit when you land.
- When you land you sometimes bounce, and when bouncing you can't jump which feels a bit bad for the player
- Your platforms were almost the same colour as the background, which wasn't clear. You definitely want to have more contract.
- Sometimes you didn't know where go on a level - it felt a bit trial and error
With all that said though, it was a pretty solid feeling platformer which clearly had a lot of effort into building challenging levels. Long term, I'd probably steer away from making it micro movement precision platformer, unless you offer controller support.
