The bonk SFX! Yeeting the boxes is so fun! I keep running out of boxes and have no money to buy new ones. Silly fun game!

Simple but solid game loop - feels like it could use expanding, but definitely sound for a game jam. Excellent 'bonk' sound effect, it amuses my cave man brain.

As a fellow cave man, the bonk sound was lock and loaded as soon as I had the concept in mind. x-)
Neat concept, and pretty good execution for four days. I feel like the game's mechanics would be better suited to a side-scrolling 2D game or full 3D game rather than a top-down 2D game. And a basic chemistry engine would go a long way to creating unique interactions and mechanics, but that's well outside the scope of a short game jam.

Hmmm you could add different enemies like one who crushes the crates, an other which is very fast.
The protègès should move a little to make them more difficult to defend.
It should have a progression system, like a time you need to survive and then a level system and so on.
Fun physics sandbox. Demons felt a bit too spongy.
Thank you for your comment. Could you develop a little bit more about the demons being a bit too spongy? Do you think they should bounce more when hit with a box or another enemy?

I meant that I felt that had a bit too much HP relative to the players damage output
