Cool concept, but can you make the shots actually go in the direction of the mouse? Aim is super tedious.
Also, I wonder if having -1 DMG caused me to heal enemies :P

Interesting thought about the healing enemies. also I might change how the shooting works after the jam

It's a fun game, I like how it adding new enemies and rooms after every run so you don't get bored. But without music and sounds in the main game it feels many times worse. If you pasted music from main menu it could be much better, because that track is cool. Also I think the pigs are too strong, because there's many of them and they press and kill you very easily. And, maybe I didn't got concept rightly, but how it relate to the jam's theme "reflections"?

Developer

1st, I wanted to make Music for the rooms you go into but the time i had left to do that was non existent. 2nd. So funny story I did not see there was a theme until after the jam ended so whoops :). for the rest I would say maybe dash away then shoot when its safe but idk about how to nerf the Slashers (Pigs). Thank you for the feedback!

it's a bit sad that you can only shoot on the horizontal directions, in my experience I had to run around a lot before I can shoot, and with the ennemies hitboxes corenring you easily, you had to be even more careful and take more time escaping ennemies. The idea with humanity is original, but running around so much (at least in my experience) is a bit annoying.
It's a nice touch to have a cinematic for a game jam, we don't see that often ! But maybe having a music for the game instead of the menu would have been better ? Or at least keep the menu music going during the game ? To me, 99% of games feel empty without music (except a very few exceptions), I know it's only one week, but maybe just repeat the menu music ?

Developer

Thank you for your comment! The horizontal shooting was something I did day 1 I agree it can get kinda annoying. The Music was because I couldn't do it because I had no time to do it. Maybe after the jam I can add more music. Also the reason why I did not do the menu music is because I did that days before the deadline but I wanted different music for the game & menu. But Thank you for the feedback!

don't stop bro , do better.
