Thank you for the feedback - and especially for the support for the artstyle! Sorry for the late response, I got distracted by other things - but I've picked this project up again and intend to turn it into into a  full-fledged small game.

🐞The gun doesn't work.
🐞Enemies swarm the door while I'm in the computer room

No, I mean parts of the 2D level aren't visible when it's in play mode because the camera is behind the 3D elements of the 3D level when the 2D level is playing

Takes too long to show high score with that gimmick, mirror rotation is unreliable

This is an awesome first attempt at game development. Well done, and I'm looking forward to your next attempts.

Great idea, execution not so much (can't see the entire 2D level, the 2D motion is a bit confusing...)
Still, hopefully you can continue working on this project :D

Cool concept, but can you make the shots actually go in the direction of the mouse? Aim is super tedious.
Also, I wonder if having -1 DMG caused me to heal enemies :P

Some checkpoints (on start of each level) and/or extra lives would be nice

Failed? Seems passable enough to me. Good, even.
That said, try to work on the audio a bit. And add subtitles. And background music.
This game has potential, so I hope you'll keep working on it.

This game jam requires using an Unity asset pack, which makes it Unity-exclusive.

Is there a reason behind this decision?
EDIT: You can use the asset pack with other engines, as others have replied below

I see the makings of a great game here, and I hope you can expand on it. Here are some suggestions:
- Make an easier first puzzle or a harder second one. Preferably both (or switch them?)
- Make more use of the run, dash, and fight mechanics.
- The game's story clashes with the ending.

I managed to fall into the future by moving right
Also, the game crashes after trying to leave that second room
Awesome art tho

Will make sure to come back and list all the endings. Reached 12 so far, not human yet :(

Aside from a point system, there should be a penalty for pressing the button when not needed. Otherwise we can just spam click.

Can you explain the instructions in writing? The image is a bit confusing.

The jump between these two platforms is impossible.

Are there any specific parts you are confused by?

Graphics? In this economy limited time frame?

Might try improving a bit, but won't make any promises

Interesting feedback, thank you!
I'll work on some more complex levels in the future, perhaps also add a move counter and/or a timer for high scores.

Nah, that's definitely on me for placing the buttons in the corners. I'll try to fix that in the future and think of some kind of level completion indicator.

Okay, but how do I kill it? I only have the mirror. Also, it would be good if the evil monster looked more evil after being reflected - otherwise people will just think the mirror isn't working

That was an interesting concept - exploring the defeatist and inherently flawed ideology of anarchoprimitivism through a text-based adventure game.

Unfortunately, the password-guessing process is too tedious.
The seed gate password is "domestication" mentioned in the third document but there is no clue to the other ones.

The second monster on the second level won't get reflected and I can't proceed

A bit confused and overwhelmed at first, not knowing what to do. The difficulty curve is too steep, you need to design a few simpler first levels.

Good question. I guess above current player location would be less tedious

What's the run button? It's not mentioned anywhere. And this platforming segment adds nothing but annoyance to the game.
Also, I mean the walls are PITCH BLACK. I can't make out most of the level. Will try to increase brightness a bit tho

If you decide to expand upon this game, can you add a way to return to the normal world? Maybe a teleport?
It would make the game a lot less tedious. Right now, I didn't even bother trying to complete the 2nd puzzle because I know it would be infuriating to mess something up and have to start over. Especially with how slow the movement is.

The game is too dark, can't see a thing.
Also, how do you pass the second level? The gap is too wide to cross without the mirror, and I can't use the mirror to cross because I need to keep the button pressed.

This game needs a tutorial level, it takes too long to switch mirrors, and Wilson is introduced way too soon

And thank you for creating an enjoyable gaming experience. Looking forward to what you make next

I was at 1 HP and fighting spiders when I got it, could be that

can't play past level 3, jump isn't high enough

The area after the shotgun (where we shoot at spiders)
Does that area end tho? Also, once I got instakilled when entering the shadow real there

Horizontal movement needs to be at least twice as fast

In the future, use a keyboard key for dashing.

Got this error:
############################################################################################

ERROR in action number 1

of  Step Event0 for object Obj_gun:

Unable to find instance for object index 19

at gml_Object_Obj_gun_Step_0

############################################################################################

gml_Object_Obj_gun_Step_0 (line -1)

The attempt limit only makes the game more tedious

How cooked am I?

It means I can't think of any constructive criticism to give.
Your game is as good as it gets, at least by game jam criteria.
5* in all categories.
