Best fun I have had starving to death fighting rats to see who was going to eat the other in a long time! I really like the difficulty of the game, it definitely has that “one more time” hook after you die, you know you can make it further next time.
The only thing that through me for a loop was fully understanding which weapons did what during combat. I could see their rating on their popup/tooltip using the right click system, but it did not seem to always deal that amount in combat. Maybe provide a little more feedback to the player on the amount of damage dealt, especially if it is a range.
Otherwise, awesome game and keep up the good work!
This is a very deep game! Nice work!
Gave myself around a full 30-35 minute play session rather than the 10-15 minute one so I can get a fair playthrough of the game. That being said I only did the tutorial, but I think I got a good amount done! Def comment otherwise, encase there was some features I missed in the full version.

Hey dotplus, thank you for sharing your experience and this "aha moment" - really appriciated.
The tutorial is still a constrution place (also in my head). What is in the game is a first version, to give players at least a chance to get what is what. Making the tutorial easier is a wish I hear now for the 3rd time or so. About time for me to spring into action. Moving the whole tutorial topic into my "What to do next" column :-D
Thanks for playing! Will have a look at your entry within the next days.
Keep it up, this game is awesome~ please check out my updated metroidvania if you have time :D
Hello again NeatGames! Thanks for sharing your impressions - always enjoy, always appriciate :-)
Ambient sound is noted down - that's a nice idea, like it!
I'll check out your update soon. Spotted it already, but want to also get a second voice in. My nephew was playing the older version of YesterSol with such a passion. Will meet him at one of the next days, and will do the review together with him. Stay tuned ;-)
This game is really cool. I did 5-6 runs. I think in the last one I came pretty far (I died because of the 9 day limit...). The game is really hard, and sometimes you think you are dead now ... but then you find the bottle of water that saves your life! Really great! Honestly I have not much to complain about. Controls are good, tutorial is good, its difficult, but should be doable...
5-6 runs! Wow! I wish you would have made it in your last run. At the end it can be really tight, such a petty that the limit got you. Most of the time players at least at one point are begging for a stone :-D This guy is so crucial. But yeah, water is also an issue. I try to hunt rats and roast meat, when ever possible. Roasted meat gives a good amount of water (well, it gives a good amount of basically everything...).
Thanks for playing and for sharing your experience.
