There are some great ideas in this game, specifically filling the background colour and the ship/pong combo. I'd love to see this game expanded and refined. As it is, I didn't enjoy playing a sluggish version of Pong to progress. Some kind of automation or other option (maybe starting as the ship) would have been welcome. Also the upgrades getting hidden when my money was low wasn't ideal. Anyway, would love to see more!

very fun game and good base idea but sadly it ends way too fast (beat it in less than 6 minutes in my first playthrough)

At first I thought "huh, is this just another Pong incremental?" but I saw the other comments and figured there was more to it than that. I'm glad I stuck around, what you have here is pretty brilliant and I'm glad you didn't spoil it in the screenshots :)

The overall concept has the most potential I've seen so far, though that's partially due to the short nature of the game leaving you wondering what else you can do with the game.  Regardless of what it could be, what you have here is incredibly tight design where the mechanics work well with each other. It would be difficult to keep piling more and more on but I think it could be done with some clever thinking which you're capable of.

Even without the meta stuff, the core game mechanics are already well done. Having the left paddle incremental gains was the first nice moment, but then the right paddle splitting balls was an even better highlight and kept me wanting more. Excellent entry and a good representation for the future potential of the genre.

How to beat the second level?

Developer

It is related to the number and size of cyan balls in your screen. If you have enough and done the red level, you've beaten the second level.

Well, the problem is, when you hit any cyan ball, you need to start from scratch. I got to the point where I had every possible upgrade; I tried several times to survive the cyan level and always failed.

Now the save seems to be wiped, so need to start again :(

UPD: tried again. Still cannot complete, still frustrated.

The is great! Some nice ideas here, I wonder if you can take it even further with more games!

I've never seen this done before. I'd love to see how far you can push this idea.

Great new take on Pong! Really like the upgrade features and how they can quickly change the gameplay all without having to start/stop playing.  Only thing missing is audio!  Would have loved to contribute - next time please ask!

Hey, thanks for the good comment! Unfortunatly, you played to bugged version. If you feel like doing the boring beginning again, you could check try the prestige mode.
