Just the right amount of difficult and easy! A little short, and unlike the other reviews, I dont believe coyote time was that much needed.. I also loveeeed the music (from the main menu), Keep up the good work!

Edit: Not sure how the theme was implemented..

Developer

Thanks for the review!

The theme would’ve been implemented if you were able to do more things with the umbrella, which was my intention but didn’t manage to pull off.

I’ve got an updated version I’m working on in which I’ll try to add Coyote Time. If anything it means I can put platforms further away from each other ;-)

This game could use more levels and some coyote time. Then it would be even better.

Thanks Polyconic for the game. I liked the use of a LERP camera. It is not easy making the camera move as smoothly as it did. I also liked the mechanic of flying with and umbrella.

I have worked with the same Pixel Adventure assets in my game Flag Rush. The tiles could be included for better ambiance.

Great Work!

Developer

I started off using the Pixel Adventure tiles but wanted to practice making terrain tiles since I’ve not done much of it. It definitely doesn’t look as good but I at least got used to using LibreSprite.

The camera movement is all handled by built-in Godot options, so I can’t take credit for that :-D

Thanks for trying out my game!

Nice small game ! It's a bit sad that you didn't manage to add more uses of the umbrella other than gliding, but it's still a nice entry ! Congratulations !

This game is fun to play.

This game was way more fun then I expected, really neat entry.
You can add some more movement options like double jump and/or dash and a few more levels, that would make the game even more enjoyable.
Nice entry.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

I was hoping to get more umbrella mechanics involved but I’m just starting to learn Godot so I only got so far. I’m still adding some things to the game, so perhaps I will figure out how to add more Umbrella mechanics.

I liked this!

The movement is smooth, The umbrella feels fun and the level design is surprisingly elegant.  The music is really good, fun to listen to and sets the vibe really well.

There is not a lot here, but the things that are work great.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try. It definitely needs more umbrella mechanics.

Character looks cool, but doesnt really fit the level, movement is pretty smooth tho, and I wish there was a bit more to the umbrella

Developer

I wish there was a bit more to the umbrella too :-D

Thank you for giving it a try.

The character came from Pixel Adventure - something I definitely don’t have skills for is drawing and animating pixel art. I had higher hopes for the umbrella but this was mainly a Godot learning project.

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for checking it out!

I will give your game a go when I’m back at my Windows machine.
