I absolutely adored the intro animation, and the art style was pretty cool, the tutorial was really nice, and the gameplay was smooth, sadly i got stuck on the first level because i didnt have any building block in an area you couldnt progress without...
Loved the intro animation and the sound effects on it! Great to see a tutorial, it felt really polished!
Extra collectables were a nice touch, certainly made me stop and consider where they might be hidden quite a lot.
The gameplay and controls were overall good but would sometimes feel a bit unfair, especially being 'squished'. I also really struggled to use the building blocks without just immediately crushing them... . but these issues are very much a problem with my skill and common in these sorts of games, they are meant to be hard! I definitely think you smashed it with what you managed to do in 3 days! really impressive!
I am Mad at Karl.... i wish I'd noticed the preview screenshot and not fallen for the trick 😂
After inspecting further I think the Squish mechanic might be glitched. Its not impossible just more sensitive than I wanted it to be.
When the jam is over I'm gonna remove or downplay the squishing.
These things happen in gamejams, don't sweat it!
FWIW I think its a good mechanic, I wouldn't remove it just fiddle with the sensitivity.
Love the game, really fun mechanics, was hard but doable.
The only gripe I have is that player randomly gets teleported back to a flag and that is very annoying.

I really love the art style, the opening cutcsene was charming and the background art is wonderful. the mechnics were cool and innovative, karl's sign had me laughing out loud.
had fun. main thing to change is to add more feedback when the player dies, a lot of times I died without understanding what happened. cool Idea and fun game.
