I  like the roguelike concept but the player often spawns inside a wall and can't move. Other than that the gameplay is fun though quite difficult with the fast speed of the robot. Generally it could be refined in terms of art (which seems a bit bare bones) and gameplay (could benefit from balancing). I was impressed by the custom music and the UI animations, and considering which upgrade to pick does add a lot to the gameplay. Finally, I don't see how the theme is incorporated.

The theme was included by mixing powers and upgrades.

Since you varied the speed of the music, the fact that it was repetitive was less irritating and almost steadying. Cool bit of adaptive coding. The art also fits the game well. I will assume that the various upgrades provide the concoction element to the game? For my feeling, the enemies are a bit op and the upgrades underwhelming, but the interplay between movement options and the various upgrades and trying to figure that out does provide a satisfying game experience in the end. The fast pace and quick reload mean it’s fun to keep playing and motivating to get better. Nice!

Thank you so much! I am glad you like it but was not afraid to critique it.

Always remember that taking the time to critique something is a compliment in itself :)

Angry robots and lead is my favorite concoction. The player definitely feels like a snail even with a few movement upgrades.

I really love the roguelike elements to this. The upgrade screen is probably where the style shines the most, and the only thing that could've improved the upgrades was simply more of them. But even the current variety is pretty good for a jam.
Over all, great style, great execution, and while the movement controls are a bit lacking, this game actually manages to be fun. I especially appreciated the enemy variety as well.
My only suggestion at the moment would be to smoothen out the movement controls (and maybe make the player a tad faster).
