Hello and thank you all for your participation in MediBang's first game jam!

We played all of your games and loved the concepts and ideas you implemented in your games!
Each and every game showed great promise and did a wonderful job of implementing this game jam's theme: cute and timed.

--------------------

Congratulations to "Shelf Life" by 1988stevenm for being the 1st place winner!

"Shelf Life" is a very intriguing game that implements all rating factors extremely well.
The technical implementation really stood out to us at MediBang.

Also, congratulations "Love Tic" by Sun,  for receiving 2nd place.

"Love Tic" is a cutely intense platformer that was a joy to play.
We thought that it fit the themes perfectly!

--------------------

On another note, we at MediBang overlooked the methodology and calculation of ratings.
Due to this factor, for this game jam we have calculated an internal score.
This is calculated by totaling the score and raw score, and dividing that by two.

We are implementing this method because the score* is calculated through the raw score and median number of votes per game.
For the scale of this game jam, this unfortunately skews the results. We apologize and implement better criteria to ensure that our future game jams remain fair for all participants!

Below are the rankings using this calculation:
1. Love Tic - 19.65 points
2. Shelf Life - 19.5 points
3. Viro - 17 points
4. Posted - 15.6 points
4. Forever Young - 15.6 points
5. Trouble in Candyland - 15.4 points
6. Don't Be Late for Date - 13.99 points
7. Little Farm - 12.31 points
8. Waihod - 11.54 points

This being said, for Jam with MediBang, we will offer the first place prize to both Shelf Life and Love Tic!

To 1988stevenm and Sun, please contact me at ralex@medibang.com or through a private message on MediBang's Discord.

--------------------

Once again, thank you to everyone for participating and submitting these great games.

We hope you that had fun and are looking forward to our next game jam! (TBA)
