There needs to be some more visual feedback when adding ingredients. Consider placing them somehow specially, shrinking them, maybe adding more visual/sound effects when they are added to a pot or pan. Because as it is now the ingredient simply moves to be above the pot and it’s not really intuitively clear that the ingredient was added and not just dropped on the floor.
Good work overall :)
This was cute! It was a little difficult at the start, I managed to figure out how to cook but not what I should try aiming for. Luckily I looked in the description with the biggest tip of who likes what. I was hoping to get that information in game just before playing, but it's not too bad.
I hope you cook up another delightful game!
This is very cute, I enjoyed making salami and strawberry salad for my fellow invaders!
My main feedback would be... well, player feedback itself. When I feed an ingredient or food to someone, it would often just disappear, they have no reaction, and they keep waiting.
When they actually don't like it, it's great, and when they like it, they leave (although I would've liked a "Thank you" or something :P). The problem is when the food just disappears and they do nothing. Is it that they want a prepared food and not just an ingredient? Wrong flavour? It's not clear what I did wrong. Try to have some form of feedback for every possible interaction. Otherwise, great!
Awesome game.
The idea is amazing, the art is nice and the mechanics are easy to understand and entertaining.
Some kind of score would make a great addition to the game with the possibility of lizards waiting too long, getting the wrong type of food or some other kind of scoring system.
