Love the visuals! As someone already mentioned, the controls feel a bit clunky (if I'm going right and I want to go back to the left, I have to go up a bit and then go left for it to register), but good job otherwise! :D
Thanks for the feedback! and yes that is the game mechanic of the game. If your going right you cant go left/the opposite direction your going (no going back). so you'll have to go up or down then go left.
Love the visual warping. Made it look like an old TV. The only criticism that I'll give is that the hitboxes seemed a little big. At one point I got hit through a wall. Otherwise good job!

I think the game needs some more polishing, I like the simple graphics and audio, but the controls are weird I expected more of a pacman-like movement, so the player is always in the middle of a tile. In my opinion the current solution feels worse, but in the end has the same effect.
