Hard to tell where you are on the track. but was still solid

Developer

We do have a minimap, but thank you for the feedback!

Submitted

Interesting game, but I would have liked to be able to see more of the track to predict what move to make

Developer

We do have a minimap. But thanks for playing!

Unique race game A bit harder to control but was really good. Mini game do add quite a value to it really enjoyed just struggled on controls.
Came back to play again and comment :))

Developer

Thank you, we will try to fix controls after the Jam

I liked how you had to race against AI players to win the game. I also liked the different mini-games and how you have to play them to repair your sleight. However, I didn't like how I couldn't see where I was going because of the camera. Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing your game.

Thank you for the feedback!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I loved the way you and your team implemented the special object and made it something essential to the game. I also thought that the idea of playing a minigame to repair your sleigh was pretty cool.

However, I encountered a few problems while playing with the first of them being that the bell mini game never ends. The second was that after the game announces what place I came at the end of the final lap, The race would not end. Instead, it just continued forever. The third and final problem was something that I'm not sure was intentional or not but, the sleigh takes damage all the time even if you aren't making contact with anything and aren't moving. Though I'm not too sure whether or not these problems are exclusive to the WebGL version of the game.

Aside from these few problems, the game was great. Your team did a great job and I definitely think more people should play this!

Developer

The bell game was a bit glitchy even in Windows, and I think it completely broke down on webgl. And yes, we did forget to end the race lol. Yes, the sleigh taking damage even when not moving was intentional as reindeer do get tired and fuel does run out when you stay.

Cool concept, had lots of fun playing it! One thing: make the camera not lag behind that much, please. Other than that, it is amaing!

Thanks for the feedback, really should've playtested more before submitting.

Why don't you update your game?

Developer

You can update during the rating period?

Submitted (1 edit)

Absolutely, I did that like 3 times already because of stupid bugs

Developer

Oh thank you, but I will be joining another jam soon.. So I'll try to update when I get some free time.

Loved your game! Is super cute! If I may, I only have 2 humble suggestions. One, it was a bit hard to differ between the racing track and the walls. I would suggest making it a bit more clear so that players are not constantly hitting walls. The other suggestion is to make the camera a bit more wider so u can see the path forward? It was a tiny bit hard knowing what was to come, but I think this is def a more arguable suggestion.

Overall amazing game!

Developer

Thank you! We should've really played more before submitting our game, thanks for the feedbacks.

Submitted

not worries, we literally had the same issue XD

Submitted

It got stuck in the bell mini game but overall really cute and I liked the way you used the Anvil

Developer

Ah thank you, yeah we will fix the bell mini game after the jam.

Submitted

ahaha really nice! :3 unique game in this jam! can you rate my game?

Developer(+1)

Will do! Thank you.

Submitted

Thanks! Your game is cool, again.

Submitted

nice! Also why doesn't it end?

Developer

It should end after telling your place in the race, but it could be a bug in webgl.

This game immediately hit me with some intense motion sickness, so I unfortunately wasn't really able to continue. Perhaps a more zoomed out view and more gradual camera tilt could improve this?

Developer

We might add settings menu where you can control view and camera tilt in the future :D

Loved the concept, it's been some time since I played a racing game and this was fun, good job :)

Developer

Thank you!

Nice racing game. The controls are nice, if a little buggy. I think there should be a something to indicate what is your place in the race. My game got stuck in the minigame, maybe I didn't understand it. Good job, expecting to see it more developed.

Developer(+1)

Yeah we thought about it, but we didn't have enough time.

Not a bad idea for a racing game, was a little difficult to control the racer and the camera placement didn't help, but overall nice job!

Developer

Thank you! We tried balancing the game at the last second, but didn't go too well ig.

Submitted

Apparently I'm a bad racer, but the game concept is not bad

Developer

Ah, yeah, we failed to balance the game, but thanks for the feedback!

Love the concept , would love to see it expanded and fleshed out.

The only Major problem I have is the camera placement . It is too far back so I often go head first into walls.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, we will try to fix the problem after the Jam is finished :D
