Very cute, well put together, I would say I'd prefer if it was just one minigame with a bit more to it than two, and a bit more integration between the gameplay and the narrative elements so it doesn't feel like unrelated game then narrative then unrelated game - Not really advice for this game but for your future projects.

How did you implement the Theme and Special Object?
This is a Christmas-themed game where a ghost ruins the player's Christmas decorations by dropping anvils on them. The player must drive the ghost out of the house by playing mini-games while dodging anvils that the ghost will drop on the screen.

Adorable game!! I thought the gameplay was a bit slow, maybe if there were more anvils spawning quicker? Still very fun :)
I really really liked the whole game, the characters, the audio, the art, the gameplay, the way you implemented the anvil... but the begining it's too long and takes to much time to start the game
Thanks for the comment! I'm the type of person who loves lore and backstories in various games I play or follow, so I have a tendency to put in a lot of dialogue in most of the games I have made so far. Unfortunately, I tend to get a bit out of hand with the game dialogue, so I let the player press the "e" key so that they can skip portions of the cutscenes.
Great entry! I am impressed with how much you were able to complete, well done. My only complaint would be about the amount of dialog, I ended up just fast forwarding and not readying it by the end. All in all, great submission.
Yes, the games can go on forever after you have reached the points requirement. I wasn't sure that players were gonna reach the points requirement for both mini-games, so I tried to make them as easy as possible. It's something I've learned from the very first game jam I've joined. The very first game I've made for a game jam was too difficult to clear for many players, so I've learned to make the game easier from then on.
Cute game, and very impressive to make 2 games in one. I liked them both, especially the first one since it went from relaxing to completely chaotic pretty quickly. The second one was also good but dragged a bit, maybe the challenge should escalate faster. I also really liked the music and the little cutscenes in between gameplay. Nice work
Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make the second game as easy as possible since I was afraid that the points requirement would've been too high to reach if I had too many anvils spawn on the screen. I've learned from the very first game jam that I've joined back in the summer that it's better for your game to be too easy than to be too hard in a game jam, because it's more likely that you'll get a negative response if players couldn't beat it.
woah! such a great game,
honestly i had no trouble playing the game as i knew what to do! i love the way you added the anvils!
Ah yes the ghost hunter gato!!! It's a nice cute Christmas story - I loved the minigames, especially the one with Max were you jump around!
I love the cat animations, and appreciate the 8 directional animations for the white kitty! The story was also very cute!

Fantastic job! This was really fun to play, the cinematics you added to the game made it great. The mini games were fun to play although it did get to a point where after I had gotten enough points to complete the level I would just intentionally lose, which I guess just kinda made it feel less like I beat the level. Had a lot of fun playing it though, great job!
The game was amazing. You laid out the text in a good way, I did not get tired of reading it. The graphics are good too. I only have an issue with the scaled-up pixel art, I did not look that nice. Overall, You have made a great game :)
The game caught my attention with its visual part, there is a well-thought-out gameplay, thank you for such a game!
The game idea and story were great but there was too much text to read. It was easy and cozy and I liked the graphics. HAving different minigames to try was also a good idea. Good work!
