music was really nice.
visible area should be larger.
fire rate is dependent on the rate of button mashing
there was no reason to not be firing 100% of the time (that I could find)
could use some 'bang' sound on firing the gun.
exploration was frustration from the lack of vision
wasn't supper clear what the goal was
gun shot from the charcter's chest

lots of potential with some edges getting cleaned up

Like many already pointed out, visible area needs to be bigger. Other than that - fun game, very well polished.

This game is quite fun.I would prefer to not have to re-collect the gun after each death . i forgot it a few times and had to go back lol.  The only criticism i have is maybe the radius of your light could be increased .as it was quite annoying at times . In all a fun game well done to the developer

I really enjoyed the exploration aspect of the game. However, the shadow occludes so much of the playable area, which really makes the "combat" frustrating. I had presumably cleared out a section of the map, so I went to kill a scorpion with the gun I just found, and ended up walking right into it because the shadow made it hard to see even an enemy that I knew where it was because I had passed it before. Then I killed it and started walking back to an area I knew was clear, only to find an enemy spawned there, and it killed me. The thing is, occluding most of the screen with shadow and action-style combat are very hard to blend together properly. If this game focused more on the exploration, the shadow could've been a much better difficult mechanic.

I can definitely relate to the feeling of old school top down shooters. Mission accomplished, then! heh, good job.
