This game is really good, but on my first game I encountered a game-breaking bug where the ball was trapped on the edge of the arena. There's a picture of it here: https://ibb.co/bZb8gn
Thank you for the feedback, appriciate your honesty. Yes, this game is not for averyone - it can't be. I will consider issuing epilepsy warning, although, from my gamedev experience that might not be a case (check out my other game "Shape Rave" as the epilepsy example). Glad you enjoyed it for 5-10 minutes :D By the way, there is no motion blur, may be adding it will reduce advese effect of motion sickness.
I'd like to write a massive comment about everything I loved in this game, but as a Tron fan, a Synthwave addicted, a futurepunk and cyberpunk lover the only thing I can say is that you totally nailed this entry
Well, for a guy who never played Rocket League, that was pretty brutal...
One of the best submissions i've played so far. Music is great, graphics are great, gameplay is fun and addictive. Great job.
Definitely reminds me of Rocket League, but is just different enough to stand on its own. The only issue I have with it is that the physics of hitting the ball seem a bit strange. I get that the game is trying to assist players in kicking towards their target goal, and that's probably necessary to an extent. But sometimes it makes it too easy, while other times you have to circle all the way around the ball. I think an interesting additional mechanic would be the ability to pivot your ship while on auto pilot in a set direction, and then the ship launches the ball in the direction faced. So for example, you could set yourself up in a trajectory towards the ball, then spin to face your goal, and when you hit the ball, it launches it that way. That would also empower the player to make more aggressive power slides and other maneuvers to fight for the ball.
fun, rocket league tron inspired game. that will hook you up for sure.
