A very interesting concept! I didn't know at first that only one direction was available so I was very confused, but having to rent out the controls is a very fun mechanic! I think a little more money spawning would have helped a lot to allow getting just enough to survive at first and start collecting to buy the guns and enemies. A very solid game prototype for a game jam, well done!
