Was fun, though definitely abuseable. I ended up just hiding inside one of those huge energy balls and was pretty much immortal as long as I kept shooting more out.
Nice work, it could be sooooo much juicier if I could shoot more often! And music/noise on background doesn't help :'-(
You should just had a score header on the game UI to give objectives to the player.
Thanks for your feedback !
What do you mean by "music/noise on background doesn't help" ?
The background sound is strange x)
Looks great and had good weapons, although I'd also say that not being able to fire took away from it's enjoyment for me at least.
Thank you for your honest feedback.
I agree with you, it can be a bit frustrating... many others seem to feel this way as well.
It looks pretty and it had the beginnings of something realy good, but having the game randomly decide if I'm going to shoot my weapon or change it doesn't feel that great. I don't know if I'm missing something but I had to click on average of five times before I shoot. Your game does have wonderful visual and sound design, and when I do shoot it feels appropriately juicy. Also, I don't see how this game falls into wither of this jam's themes.
Thanks for your review !
The base idea was to have some sort of russian roulette going on; when you pull the trigger you're not sure wether you're going to shoot or not. Thus incorporating the theme of luck.
But I agree with you that it doesn't feel great at the moment... if I were to do this jam again I would surely change my approach. Maybe I'll update this game in the future.
Amazing work :) I love it
Thank you !
Love the lighting and post processing!
Thanks !
