Is show picture allowed since it's part of the engine? Also are variables allowed movie cutscenes etc since all are part of rpgmaker?

I am trying to remember.  Is the picture folder typically empty?  Where are the variables inputted for movie cut screens?

You record a video then convert it in vlc to a format as for the variables was just wondering if I could track xy coordinates etc

And yes picture is empty far as I know you screen shot ya map for lightning etc using show picture

I have also thought of this. Would we be allowed to record a in game cutscene, convert it to MOV and play it as a movie cutscene in game?  Would we be allowed to do that and edit the video using programs like Shotcut? 

Since these require outside software, they are not allowed.  There are other ways to make cutscenes using just the game engine.
