Nice game. I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Kenney Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Very well polished game. Maybe add medals to incentivize going for faster times.

Really enjoyed it.

Developer

thanks, yes i'm developing it further with my own art and there will be medals for each level, going for a mobile release in a few months

Cool concept and execution.

It would be nice to have instructions in game. I didn’t read the instructions on the page first so I didn’t realize that you could change directions and thought part of the gameplay was to bounce back from walls to turn around. I tought the “x” on the title screen was telling me to press the “x” button so that’s how I “learned” how to jump. The first level got super hard that way haha.

Developer

Thanks for playing, ran out of time with the in game instructions but will be adding these to the final game

i like the game nice job, i never know there's Z button all along hahahaha. The idea of changing direction with hitting the wall is very good. maybe we don't need Z button, just make the character able to hit the edge of platform instead of passing through it

Funny thing, I had to go back and play this game twice! after reading some of the comments on pushing Z to switch directions. I realized there's more then just bouncing off the walls and platforms.

So this brings two things to mind! First, Maybe put jump on a cooldown, or maybe a limit on number of jumps you can perform during the level. I actually had more fun trying to navigate bouncing off the walls to platform and make it to my goals then easily switching directions.

2, if you wanted to expand on this idea, maybe have it switch between jumping and moving. so one level you would control the movement but not the jumps. So your character would just be endlessly jumping.  you would then have to navigate so you don't jump into spikes.

nice job!

Very nice! Didn't realize you could change directions, so I was bouncing off the walls to change directions. It made the 3rd level funny because I was bouncing off walls to stay on the moving platform! XD

Adding the "Z" key to change direction was very helpful (just like reading the directions haha). I did notice an issue with the moving platforms that when my character should have landed on it, he just fell straight through.

Fun game! I really like the concept.
