Great job!
Great job!
extremely good and fun!! after dying once i just ignored the cheapest ship entirely and beat it on the second run. it was fun dodging and taking risks to get more energy to buy more ships.
maybe a smaller space ship
Thanks for playing! It's definitely something we were thinking, ship was originally even bigger and we had to cut it down a bit. But it's still a bit too wide maybe
It's interesting.I really enjoy buying a lot of powerful ship surrounds me.
Neat game. This is my first Jam, and I'll definitely be looking at this game to learn some things from!
Love this! Me and my wife couldn't put it down until we beat it. Trying to optimize what ships I added to my fleet was really fun and the boss was simple but solid. Sometimes it was hard to tell where my hitbox was, but it felt fun to control and really love the overall feel. It was satisfying to progress and every death felt avoidable. The shop was a tad hard to buy from while playing, but that added to the challenge. If you add more ships in the future maybe having a slow down time while shop is open feature would allow me to better look at what options I have. Would love to see this expanded in the future with more ship types to add to my fleet and more bosses to defeat. Good luck with the jam!
You're right about the buttons, on second thought we could have made them also clickble through keyboard. Thanks for playing and commenting!
Really great concept! Reminded me a lot of an game called Platypus! Really fun to play, level design is a little unforgiving, but that didn't stop me from starting over again and again. I liked how you are forced to lose a life at the beginning to explain how the metoers work! Very clever bit of games design!
Hi! Thanks for playing and your kind words, we didn't have more time for the lvl design but we would have liked to add a few more levels to it. It was still pretty fun to work in it and we're glad to see you liked it :)
