I like the color choice for the gameplay.
Would be nice if you drop the whole main menu, and set it up in the game itself.

as others have said, it could benefit from a tutorial (you could add one to your Itch.io page description: drag the fireball on top of the tower like a slingshot to shoot). Took me a second to realize how things work. It's also really really difficult to judge where the fireball is going - I think I got a score of maybe 40 at max :D Especially when zombies/ghosts appear out of the slots right next to the tower when you're just trying desperately to hit the ones further away, haha. Also having more than 1 HP might be nice - or maybe there could be a few layers of defences around the tower to give you some more time (e.g. a fence that the enemies get stuck on that they can bash through etc).
But a cool concept, nonetheless!
Thanks for playing the game!
We had ideas to add powerups you could randomly get from tiles, or treasure you find by flipping tiles that you can spend on upgrades. Unfortunately, we ran out of time. We never considered tower HP or fences, but they could be really nice additions. I really wanna expand the game after the jam so we might just add those!
I give you extra score points for the cats pics. The game it's a little hard and a tutorial would be great. But keet working!
tricky game but i can definitely see potential - as the other commenters suggest adding a trajectory arc from the tower would help, also being able to rotate the camera around the tower, good work for just 48hrs though!
Interesting concept with the fireballs, maybe an arrow would make more intuitive sense because you have to draw your bow in order to shoot the arrow.
A way to rotate the camera to know where I'm throwing the ball could help with accuracy, I missed a lot of shots so I wasn't very good at this game lol.
The game is pretty cool, it is a bit hard to predict the trajectory of the fireball though, a line or even a marker on the ground showing the hit point would have worked really well!
Also a tutorial text would have been nice, still, pretty good!
