Interesting little adventure for a wizard to find himself on!  I wandered through the forest to the west and then the rest of the world to the east after getting some potions from TownA.  I did notice a few things seemed a little off.  Everything seems to be drawn above player, so like if you walk up to a tree from the south, the player looks like they're underneath the tree which seems a bit silly.  And some of the enemies when they move towards the player seem to get stuck on the walls (especially in the forest) which made them easy targets for my magic.

I would also suggest adding some sort of animation to the chest opening.  I opened a few and wasn't sure what I actually got from them!  I figured out it was more money, but it wasn't clear to me at first if there was an item in some inventory menu somewhere that I wasn't aware of.

Thank you for providing a map to the player.  The world is rather large and easy to get lost in without one.  Also neat background track!

Pretty fun top down game, I basically just roamed around to each of the towns/castle and killed things on the way. I also ran into some performance issues, it seemed to happen when a lot of coins were on screen. Killing things was fun, though exploring the map felt a little barren because of all the open space. Maybe adding more interesting areas or shortening the map size would make the game flow a lot better. Overall though, not bad!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, I have a possible solution to help with performance and with the coins that I plan on implementing with a patch.

In terms of map, I wanted to have more in the world and interesting things between but ran out of time, I am glad you enjoyed it still though.

Nice job! The sounds made a huge difference!  The controls are very fluid, also.

Good job! My game is similar to yours

Stumbling into and fighting a giant cyclops was so fun! It had some performance issues for me but was overall enjoyable.

Thank you, I Intended to have an area with increases in difficulty.

I am sorry to hear you had performance issues, but I am happy you still enjoyed it despite them.

Was a bit lost at first, really cool map feature. Clicked Quit on the menu thinking it would close the menu and lost all my progress. This might just be me though

If I had more time, I would have put more guidance and other features I had in mind. (Wanted to add quests and other things, maybe next time >:) )

Yeah the Quit was just made so you could get out of the application before it was a webGL build, next time I will make sure to maybe have 2 buttons, one for closing the menu and another for quitting to main menu.

Thank you for the feedback.
