Awesome addition to the pack! Love the horse animation

Agreed!

Thanks you so much for this pack and all your hard work on it. Can’t wait to see what you do next :D

That’s perfect! So many possibilities for this set, great work

Love it!! Such a cool addition. Quick question, are the windows transparent or is the space background part of the window?

Perfect!! So so useful thanks!

I was quite lost, was making it quite far but didn’t really know how or why. Started to click it and its a fun concept. Timing feels a bit odd in places as there are bits where you just waiting.

I can see it being really cool with some added game juice

Thanks for the feedback, yeah the shooting gave me a hard time. If it was just a bullet it would be easier but just couldn’t get that spear to shoot properly when aiming too much up or down.

Thanks for the feedback about the zoom causing issues with the camera and it’s zooming, will look at how to slow that down :)

I like this game… but it does not like me LoL! I just couldn’t get onto the beat consistently. But I feel that’s more a more a me problem than with the game. I liked the concept though and could see it being fun especially with different “songs” or beats to keep rhythm with.

Maybe add a visual aspect as well to help with the timing?

Thanks for pointing out the boost bug, will have to go look at that. And I feel you, spearing all those cute fishies feels a bit cruel from time to time.

I lost so much time trying to get that shooting right and still couldn’t get it right if you aim too much up or too much down. Hence why the rest of the game is quite empty

Took me a while to click what to do and how best to grab things. Liked the concept but felt game just needed a bit more. Couldn’t play the multiplayer but can see how it could have cool scenarios

I would have liked a dash or push away mechanic for when you get too swarmed. But really liked the idea thought it was very clever take on the theme by not having 2 control buttons but 2 actual buttons. There’s lots of cool things you could add with future levels as well

I tried doing something similar to what you did for the audio on the main menu once, but couldn’t get it quite right. It really sets the atmosphere for the game

I really like the concept as I think it has potential especially in terms of education. But felt it needed more refinement. A bit smarter equations or maybe not always having plus on the one side and minus on the other it turns into a bit of a just click till it’s right after a while.

Sadly there isn’t in the jam version. The plan was to have different fish give you different scores and so on. Many many ideas didn’t make it into the jam version :(

Some really really sick particle designs and those fast balls coming in are wild. Was a really cool experience the different movement of the shots coming in at you are very well done and I can see all kinds of cool things you can still add. Great job!

At first I thought this is cool but pretty boring, then the first upgrade menu popped up. Really like the idea and had fun trying different upgrades. Was a bit frustrating though when people are dropping on the edges of the screen and you can’t get there. Would translate nicely to mobile

Hey thanks so much for the feedback. Yeah in hindsight I would have been better off getting those things in first, believe me there is a looong list of things I still wanted to add. I got stuck for too long on the movement and shooting trying to get that to feel right, although it’s still wonky. But my big take away from this jam is to get the small wins in first.

Really fun once you get the hang of it. Would be cool to have something like an infinite ammo mode so you can focus more on the jumping part without the worry about your ammo. Also liked the funky creature designs.

Oh wow I was not ready for that. Sound design was so well done! Really great showing of what GDevelop can do.

I can’t thank you enough for the pack. I used it in a game jam and wish I had more time to use more of the assets available. Many many thanks!

This gave me such a cool idea! Thanks so much! I didn’t even know it but it’s perfect!

Well done on the 2.5d style looks cool. There where some unstable moments, but that was the theme :P Would be interesting to see what this could turn into / closer to the final vision.

Just wow! So cool! My only maybe feedback is that I would sometimes lose myself in the sea of players. But everything else is just top top notch

Really fun idea, the angles are a bit off. But def polish it a bit more and maybe add the ability to shoot at different power levels, player could charge up and get more distance.

Really well done, getting caught in the whirlwind was such a good touch. Controls felt a bit rough to get use to ( but that was probably part of the idea ) the wake behind the boat is such a nice touch.

Really great job on adding so much juice to the shooting, felt fun shooting it. Found a small bug where enemies wouldn’t turn around when hitting the wall to the right.

Oooh!!! These have such a great vibe to them

Oh wow!! This really adds a lot to your collection. Amazing job!

It’s been waaay too long. But yes, I’ve learnt a lot since then and I’m excited to pick up with Ye Scallywags again!

I honestly love coming back here every once in a while and see the updates. It’s just so amazing! Keep up the amazing work

If there was a prize for the jam entry with the best name this would be it. I really like the design of the big head dude, it’s so simple but it works. Game took quite a while for me to load though but was fun

This is why I love game jams. Just WOW! So much polish and care into the small details. Great great job with your game. Hope you keep working on it

Thanks for taking the time to play my game and give feedback, I had some scope creep idea to make the level switching also be a sort of mini game. But then time caught up with me

Thanks so much, really means a lot. Level design is not one of my strong suits so for this jam I tried specifically to focus on it.

Such a complete and polished experience, everything just dripping with polish. Movement, audio visuals all just working so so well together. From the moment the game started I could tell this is something special and I was right.

Such a fun game, the level design works out nicely with places for cover and still have a bit of open space

Wow!! Such an amazing looking game, really loved the character designs. Really gave that old school point and click feel but with modern pixel art graphics. This could be a demo for a much bigger fuller game, really really well done!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play my game and give feedback. And I was lucky there are so many ridiculously talented people on Itch who make assets. I do really wish I did get to implement the level wrapping. If you left the screen from the one side you were supposed to then pop out the other side
