This is 100% a game about exploration, and I loved the idea of navigating through the woods at night with nothing more than a flashlight and the landmarks on a map on help me find my way. Unfortunately, I think the landmarks might be a little too sparse--I walked for several minutes in one direction without seeing anything at all, only to hit a wall and realize I was just going to have to keep doing that until I found something. I think adding a few more things to the terrain would help with this, like maybe a hiking trail that traverses the map, so you can orient yourself based on it. Also, this is way more complex, but if there were like stars or something to orient by, that would be way cool. Anyway, great job creating an atmosphere!

Nice quiet forrest. I was not able to find camp and I did walk a long time. Maybe not enough landmarks to ginve me hints about direction. The star was helpful, but no enough alone. Still a good submission though

I like the Idea with the star and it fits perfectly in the jams theme. The atmosphere is simple but effective. I once run into a tree and got scared of the branches ^^. I sadly did not find the camp so U guess I starved to death : /
