Play game

Ploumtris's itch.io page

How does your game incorporate the theme?
The game jam theme is "connections". The player have to connect left and right side of his screen by connecting pipes parts.

1. Single pack: I used only one game assets the Puzzle Pack 2 for this game.
2. No text: No need to speak, only action during the game.
3. Mouse only, 4. Co-op, 5. Symmetry, 6. Cross Dimensional: Sorry, not this time, perhaps next year ?

Play with your keyboard or a game controller.

Button "A" on the gamepad or SPACE/RETURN keys validate current button or rotate the falling pipe part during the game.

Button "B" on the gamepad or ESC key cancel current screen: go to the menu or exit the program.

Arrow keys and the gamepad DPad/POV change current selected button on screen or move the falling pipe part during the game.

I liked the way you used the theme, but I encountered a bug. If the user keeps pressing the down arrow key without releasing it, the blocks overlap and then the game crashes. I played it on Windows 11

Thanks, I have to reproduce it and fix the bug. I note that bug on the code repository.

Creative  idea !!

And even the name is cool , I'm a big fan of classic games , my uncle used to give me his phone and I always played the pipe game with the water ...

Good Game...

Its a decent game. Once thing you can do to make it better is maybe improve the background because the background is very depressing

Thanks for your comment. I've choose something dark to protect eyes, but I'm agree with you. I'll have to think about it fr a next release, probably by giving a choice for a light or dark theme. did you play on macOS or Windows ?

Submitted

I played it on Windows, also very little people play games on macOS and the ones that do use a virtual machine to play games. It's up to you to add macOS support but personally I wouldn't work on it

Also if you have the time please check out my game and give Ur feedback on it

Developer(+1)

I'll do. I checked a lot of "Windows" games on monday. Many didn't work on a virtual machine. I tried your this afternoon.

The game is really nice, well done! I think the music suits this game well. But I think it's a shame that there are no instructions on how to play in the game. Yes, the controls are on the itchio page, but I think it would be better to have them inside the game.

Hi. Thanks for your comment. I delayed the hints and helps on startup for the jam but I will add them to next release of this game and iOS/Android versions.

Hi. I've added a contextual help bar in v1.1, it should be enough for users. :)
