Tried to play the game but couldn't really do anything except move around, there were no ennemies and I couldn't shoot so I don't know if I did something wrong... The visuals were very interesting and original though.
Edit : Nvm I figured it out, you have to press enter to enter some levels ! This should probably be written somewhere lol. Also I had to adjust the framerate of my screen because the enemies were moving wayyy too fast with a high framerate.
When you first open it you find the overworld press enter when the player in the level box and then the level will start, check the screenshots , and you can shoot with the mouse once you opened the level.
Edit :
I'll fix the enemy speed in the next update.
Nice game but I couldn't play with it. WASD is not usable on a non QWERTY keyboard. :(
Oh, I didn't know that, does the arrow keys work ? if it works I'll easily add them for (non QWERTY keyboard)
I don't know how you can implement them in the used game engine, but it should work. It seems many developers don't see other keyboard systems (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disposition_des_touches_d%27un_clavier_de_saisie) and add only WASD which are really not useable it's even worse when the player can't use his hand “normally”, as has been the case since a minor accident a year ago (my fingers no longer bend properly).
The better thing to do in a "real" game is to give more possibilities and an option to remap the keys to use in the game (what I don't do enough in mines and have to be fixed in next releases).
Its something I never consider , but in big games they dont re locate the keys , but they usualy use the arrow keys insted
