hi everyone this is my first game jam and i dont know what to do i mean what to do when you are making the game do you have to make it live on youtube or anyother platform or what
Hey! Fantastic that this will be your first jam, this is how it'll go;
- On July 19th we'll announce a theme, for example "Exploration". You can see the exact local time the jam starts on the jam page.
- You'll start creating a game using that theme, you can use any sort of game engine or tools but in this jam in particular you'll have to use only certain game assets. You don't have to stream your development, that's up to you. During the jam you can join our Discord for example, to show your progress, get feedback and socialize with others.
- On July 21st the jam ends, you'll upload your game to the jam page on Itch.io for others to play!
