This was a really fun and cute game! The whole concept is ridiculous and I love every second of it! It was really fun to move around in the game, but I found it a bit hard to jump over or get over obstacles. I really wish the levels were a tad bit longer, or if there was just one more level, because it was just entertaining running away from the dudes trying to get your pizza! I also really like the cel-shaded look the game has! The city landscapes are all vibrant and so detailed, which was a really pleasant surprise so good job on that! The music was really fun too and I appreciate that the sound effects were at just the right volume to not intrude or clash with the music! Overall, this was a short but sweet experience that I had a ton of fun with! I can seriously imagine this being a neat little speed-runner game, or it can even be expanded to a little puzzle game where the player tries to find other characters that have the abilities to take the pizza to areas that the default character can't get too alone, all the while you are try to not get your soul swapped away from other characters and lose your abilities! This was really creative and I hope you two had fun making it! Great job!

Wow, thanks so much! Your comment has brought a smile to my face :)

Yeah, more levels would've been great. I feel like we needed maybe one more day to get in some interesting level mechanics for that. You actually hit the nail on the head with the idea of characters with different abilities - this was our intention from the beginning. I got about 75% of the way to creating all the functionality for a balloon salesman who'd be able to jump higher + farther than other characters.

At any rate, I'm pretty chuffed with what we put out in the end, and I'm thrilled you had a good time with it! Thanks for taking the time to play and leave such a kind comment.

Gave me a good chuckle honestly, love the whimsical vibe it gives off, especially in the dialogue!

Music fits great and only gets repetitive if you don't know what you're doing, or take your time haha

I didn't realise how it linked to the theme until i played it again. The pizza pickup mechanic works great, but the delay before getting hit is too long for anything to hallen before you get out of the way

The challenge wasn't there for me. I founs it fun, because of the theme and mechanics, but the actual levels didn't serve much of a challenge. If the game was longer the difficulty would probably need to be ramped up.

I love the models and animation, they're superb and fit the vibe of the game well. The environment was also really well designed.

Overall, i enjoyed it a lot!

I'm so pleased it made you smile :P Thanks for the feedback, I've actually reduced the delay before NPCs attack in a little update. It's still very much on the easy side, though - I think we'd need to introduce some extra interactive level mechanics for the enemies to pose a threat.

Thanks again for playing!

Adorable game. I loved the visual aesthetic and the music went with the game very well. Controls felt nice, but gravity felt a little sluggish. I enjoyed that people just chase you and straight up murder you over a pizza.

I didn't understand why people were were compelled to deliver the pizza to its rightful place until reading the itch.io description after I had beaten the game. I assume the "not even stopped by death" aspect just meant that they were very determined. An alternative to the soul swapping thing (just a thought I had while playing, not saying it should've been implemented), is if the end point changed when the pizza swapped hands. So rather than delivering the pizza, they're trying to get it to their home alive. Though that would require a lot more work to implement.

Great job on the game!

Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you liked it. Yeah, we started with the death mechanic and would have liked to build levels that required you to make use of it to complete, but things get away from you in game jams. Thanks again for the detailed comment.

That was really fun :D I liked the art style. It was really funny when they started chasing you like crazy.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what we were going for :P Glad you had fun with it.

Fun gameplay, but a little too easy. I didn't die on the first playtrough so I didn't even understand what the game had to do with the theme. I liked the music and the art.

Thanks! It's definitely a breeze to play through if you know what you're doing. There's so much more we would've liked to do with it, but that's jam games for you :P

Hi

I love this Jet Set Radio style game.

Crazy looking and navigate throug a world. It's very fun to handle quite easy to finish but i enjoy the 5 minutes of game.

Thanks, that's high praise! :) I'm surprised you got five minutes out of it, to be honest :P I'm so happy you enjoyed it though.
