Hey thanks for playing! As far as I know the movement is straight - but the capsule collider isn't the size it looks like it should be, so you bump on the edges and slip off a lot without realising why :x And thanks, I love the music too!

Thank u mr Dos

For sure, will do! I'm hoping to stream my playthrough of as many games as I can get through, maybe this Wednesday :) https://www.twitch.tv/louis_vd

Yeahhhh haha that's not the intended ending point! But as long as you had a good time, that counts as a victory for me ;P Thank you for the kind words C:

Hey thanks for playing! Really glad you enjoyed it. You're not alone with that complaint, I think if we had more time, in addition to tightening up the size of the colliders, we'd add a little drop shadow underneath the robot, just so you can be sure where you're standing.

Thanks Arrowww :3 Yeah that was a last minute idea 😂 Got it in like 20 min before submission

Glad you had a nice time with it :) Thank you

Thanks! I'm so glad people are enjoying themselves with it :)

Thanks Berez, this is really heartwarming feedback :3 Really appreciate your comment.

Thank you thank you! Yeah, I noticed that as well (about the character). Especially with one of those second battery pickups. It's just one of those things that we didn't have time to solve T-T

Thanks Prestige! Glad you were vibing with it c:

I didn't realise the seeds would be confusing but it seems you're not alone there! Might need to add a "use mouse to plant seeds" prompt or something.

Maybe I'm a big baby, but I was genuinely a bit terrified, lmao. To the point where I couldn't even beat it! I just can't deal with scary games, I guess xD Great work making such a compelling experience

Great aesthetic! Had a lot of fun with it once I got the hang of it. Would love to have more of a reason to explore the map.

This was a great idea and I had a lot of fun playing it. The eldritch screech of those impatient penguins, though xD Oh boy

Had a lot of fun with this and now I have a hankering to get back in to some of the tower defence games from back in the day! Great work

Great fun C: Love this idea

Really fun concept, and super stylish execution. Great work.

This was a great time. Loved the paddle icebergs xD I was playing it for ages before I realised it must be infinite?!

This was so great. The screenshake in time with the music really got me going xD I couldn't get the hang of it though!

This was fun, Xab! Real winterfest battlefield vibes. Couldn't quite stick it through to the end, but it wasa good time nonetheless :P

I loved this! A lot! What a vibe.

I had fun with this! Can't go wrong with a platformer like this one. Great effort.

Yeah, the start can be a bit confusing. A tutorial would have been great :P But thanks for sticking it through and playing along anyway :)

Thanks, I'm really glad people are having fun with it. Haha the sandbox mode was a given - if anything, we're lucky we got the win condition done :P

Thanks Oregano :D You're too kind

So glad you liked it! Thanks for playing it on stream :3

Haha heck yeah. I'm really fond of the concept as well. Thanks for playing.

Thanks for playing, Xab! Glad you had fun with it.

thank you kitsunne!! we had a blast with it

Haha, thanks for trying DD! Yep, it's bugged to oblivion :P The enemy spawning system broke within hours of the deadline, so we just threw some slimes into the scene - they don't play by the rules and will just wail on you during the  UI popups xD So the gameplay's all there, it's just not remotely accessible. RIP!

Hi, thank you! And thanks for playing. Yeah, I should have turned off the menu xD Shooting downward is interesting, I'll need to look into that.

I'll be sure to post on discord when we've got it into a playable state.

Yep, it all fell apart in the last couple hours! There's a gemcrafting scene after each level, where you can add modular effects like explosions and damage types to your weapon, or buy turrets and equip them similarly. Unfortunately the wave spawning totally fell apart and we had to tape together workarounds, and you can't even end the first level! Oh well, that's game jams for you.

Thanks for playing and for your kind comments :)

Thanks Wrath, you're too kind! <3
Hmm, we have a shadow asset already made, so I'll see about that getting that quickly hooked up to a projector or something for a patch. Map UI issues noted, I probably just didn't test with enough screen resolutions.

Thanks for playing! Yeah, time constraints got us. There's a whole gemcrafting crafting system after the first level (which is currently totally unreachable!)

Sorry to hear about the aiming issues - I spent ages working on aim correction, so it's supposed to be working nice and smooth. I'll look into that for a patch. Thanks for the feedback <3

Ah thanks, something must be wrong with our UI scaling! I'll get that fixed.

Thanks so much for playing, despite it all! Yep, due to a bunch of last minute dumpster fires, our whole enemy wave spawning and level progression system broke. It's such a bummer haha.

Don't worry about the bugs, I've worked out what's wrong with the level progression and need to get that in ASAP. Most of the other issues should be easy as pie now that I'm not being crushed under the weight of the submission deadline xD

Wow, thanks so much! Your comment has brought a smile to my face :)

Yeah, more levels would've been great. I feel like we needed maybe one more day to get in some interesting level mechanics for that. You actually hit the nail on the head with the idea of characters with different abilities - this was our intention from the beginning. I got about 75% of the way to creating all the functionality for a balloon salesman who'd be able to jump higher + farther than other characters.

At any rate, I'm pretty chuffed with what we put out in the end, and I'm thrilled you had a good time with it! Thanks for taking the time to play and leave such a kind comment.

I'm so pleased it made you smile :P Thanks for the feedback, I've actually reduced the delay before NPCs attack in a little update. It's still very much on the easy side, though - I think we'd need to introduce some extra interactive level mechanics for the enemies to pose a threat.

Thanks again for playing!
